About Kenya national men's football team
The Kenya national men's football team is the men's representative team representing Kenya in international competitions. Managed by the Football Kenya Federation (founded in 1960), it is currently a member of FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Ranked 108th in the FIFA World Rankings, the team has a total market value of 23.1 million euros. Having participated in international competitions since 1963, the team has qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals five times but has never advanced to the FIFA World Cup finals.

Team History
Since 1974, the team has continuously participated in World Cup Qualifiers but failed to qualify each time, making its AFCON debut in 1972. Historically, it has won the CECAFA Cup five times and finished as runner-up at the 1987 All-Africa Games. Regarding the domestic football system, the league was established in 1963 and the cup competition in 1967. Notable players include McDonald Mariga, the first Kenyan to play in Serie A (who played for Inter Milan in 2010 and made his UEFA Champions League debut), and Dennis Oliech, the team's all-time top scorer (24 goals in 36 appearances, who once rejected Qatar's naturalization offer). In the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, Kenya drew 3-3 with Gambia.
