All matches of the Group Stage Round 2 of the Club World Cup concluded today. UAE side Al Ain suffered a 6-0 thrashing by Manchester City, becoming the latest team to be knocked out early after two consecutive group stage defeats.

Following the earlier elimination of Urawa Red Diamonds and Ulsan HD, both of whom also lost their first two matches, only Al Hilal among the four Asian participants still has a chance to advance to the Round of 16.

Al Hilal currently holds two consecutive draws. To secure qualification, the Saudi Arabian team must beat Pachuca in the final group stage match and hope that Real Madrid and Red Bull Salzburg produce a decisive result in their encounter.
