Resurgent Manchester United search for back to back Premier League wins for the first time under Ruben Amorim as they travel to struggling Brentford.
Brentford hosts Manchester United at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday to kick off the sixth game week of the Premier League.
Keith Andrews' side are reeling after a 3-1 defeat to Fulham away from home. The Bees expected a turbulent start, but sitting just above the relegation zone after five games wouldn't have been on their checklist. The set-piece master is unable to get the best out of his side, especially defensively. They are showing flashes of brilliance but are unable to capture them consistently. The 2-2 draw against Chelsea at home showed signs of improvement, but they came crashing down when they visited Craven Cottage last time out. Andrews must demand better standards from his senior contingent to stand a chance when the Red Devils come calling.
Manchester United recorded a massive victory against Chelsea this weekend - a result that could potentially kickstart their campaign. Ruben Amorim's men showed grit and determination to hold onto a slender 2-1 advantage as both sides finished the game with 10 men. Bruno Fernandes put in a vintage display, and the defence fought for every second ball, putting their bodies on the line to protect the lead. Old Trafford was in great voice as the heavens opened up to witness United secure three invaluable points. These are the type of victories that could inspire Amorim and co to spark a turnaround that would propel them up the league. They haven't, however, recorded back-to-back wins in the league in Amorim's time at the club. They will be viewing a trip to struggling Brentford as a good opportunity to do so.

Club World Cup Champions Chelsea looking to bounce back when they host an out of form Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
Londoners Chelsea host Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, 27th September, in a high-pressure clash for both sides early in the new Premier League campaign.
Enzo Maresca's side are winless in three games in all competitions, and all of a sudden, the pressure is increasing on the Italian. When Bayern Munich battered Chelsea, they sought comfort in the Premier League by travelling to a struggling Manchester United. The trip to Old Trafford was nothing short of a nightmare as Robert Sanchez saw a red card in the fifth minute after a poor tackle outside the box. To make matters even worse, Cole Palmer had to be taken off with a potential injury. The Red Devils scored twice before eventually losing Casemiro to a red card as well. However, Chelsea weren't able to get anything more than a consolation goal in the second half as they lacked clear chance creation from open play. The Blues sit sixth in the table, but their performances are far from convincing. Maresca would love to dispatch a Brighton side that beat them twice in their last two encounters.
When Brajan Gruda scored an 89th-minute winner against Manchester City in the third gameweek, Fabian Hürzeler would have dreamt of their season kicking on. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and that remains their only victory in the Premier League this season. The Seagulls' defence has been a weak link all season long as Hurzeler made constant changes to his lineup. A mix of injuries, suspensions and lack of match fitness has denied him a chance to name consistent lineups. The result was well evident as the team struggled in the build-up and even in the final third. Conceding twice to Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend to drop a two-goal advantage sums up their season. Hurzeler would hope for some consistency as his side looks to pick up three important points and move away from the relegation zone.

3. Crystal Palace VS Liverpool

Premier League's last two unbeaten sides take on each other this weekend as Community Shield winners Crystal Palace host defending champions Liverpool
The Saturday afternoon Premier League encounter between Crystal Palace and Liverpool has all the makings of a blockbuster as two unbeaten sides with plenty of recent history go head to head.
Oliver Glasner's side extended their unbeaten run to 17 games in all competitions after beating West Ham 2-1 away from home. Star striker Jean Phillipe-Mateta was on target again as Tyrick Mitchell chipped in with a wonder goal to win the game. The unbeaten run has seen them lift two trophies in the FA Cup and the Community Shield. The Eagles got the better of Saturday's opponents, Liverpool, on penalties in the Community Shield after coming from behind twice in normal time. They even managed to keep club captain Marc Guehi, who was whiskers away from a deadline move to the Reds. A victory on Saturday would see them enter the top four.
Arne Slot's Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the table last week after registering a massive victory in the Merseyside Derby. Goals from Ryan Gravenberch and Hugo Ekitike set them on their way to a 2-1 victory as Idrissa Gueye's second-half goal set up a thrilling finale. The Reds weren't all convincing, but got the job done again to pick up their fifth win in as many games. With new signings bedding further in each game, Slot will hope a perfect performance isn't far away. Along with avenging the Community Shield, victory at Selhurst Park would see Liverpool go eight points clear of Arsenal ahead of their own difficult trip to face Newcastle at St James' Park.

Newcastle United host Arsenal in a blockbuster Premier League encounter to close out Sunday's action of the sixth gameweek.
All eyes will be on St. James' Park on Sunday evening as London giants Arsenal visit Newcastle United for a thrilling Premier League encounter.
Newcastle United haven't made the best start to life in the new Premier League campaign. Eddie Howe's men found defensive solidarity, but aren't able to fire on all cylinders going forward. They needed a winner from new signing Nick Woltemade in the fourth matchday to pick up a first win. The Magpies were beaten by Barcelona midweek in the Champions League despite an impressive performance. An uninspiring 0-0 draw against Bournemouth followed, as they linger in the bottom half of the table. They would hope to turn up in an intense affair with Arsenal and outmuscle them. The Magpies won thrice last season against the Gunners, and there were plenty of controversial moments in the recent past.
Arsenal, on the other hand, snatched a point from Manchester City after Gabriel Martinelli grabbed a late equaliser off the bench. The Gunners dominated their opponent but failed to generate any threat until Eberechi Eze took the game by the scruff of its neck. The same issue of not showing enough intent has been plaguing Mike Arteta's side for years, and the Spaniard has to address it, given the bench strength he has. But given Noni Madueke's recent injury, the manager might be in two minds again regarding his approach. Despite three wins in five games, they are already five points behind leaders Liverpool and can not afford another slip-up against a Newcastle United that has proven to be their bogey team.
