According to the latest report from a camel.live journalist, Crystal Palace is interested in re-signing English midfielder Conor Gallagher from Atlético Madrid. The Eagles have not yet made a formal offer for the 25-year-old, but they are eager to bring him back to Selhurst Park.
Meanwhile, if their interest progresses further, Atlético Madrid would prefer a permanent transfer rather than a loan deal. The La Liga side is aware that Gallagher has also attracted interest from other Premier League clubs.
Gallagher spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Crystal Palace from Chelsea, scoring 8 goals in 34 league appearances and being named the club’s Player of the Season. He joined Atlético Madrid last summer for a €42 million transfer fee.
