All matches of the second round of the Club World Cup have now concluded. Following Manchester City's 6-0 victory over Al Ain, both City and Juventus secured advancement from Group G.

With this, the four teams that have advanced early after two rounds are confirmed:
Flamengo, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Juventus.

Flamengo is the only one among the four to have already secured the group's top spot. Bayern Munich will retain first place in their group if they avoid defeat against Benfica in the final round. Manchester City and Juventus will face a direct showdown in the last group match. If Juventus does not lose to City in this encounter, they will claim Group G's first place; otherwise, City will become the group leader.
