In a recent interview with CONMEBOL's official channel, Brazil national team manager Carlo Ancelotti discussed Neymar's situation, with the Italian stating that Neymar must be fully prepared for next year's World Cup.

Neymar renewed his contract with Santos until the end of this year with the club on Tuesday, and Ancelotti hopes he will get in shape for the World Cup. "I have talked to him [Neymar]. He is a key player for our national team, and we need him," Ancelotti said. “For the World Cup, he must be fully prepared, and he has time to do so.”

Due to recent injuries, Neymar has not featured frequently. Since his return to Santos, he has played only 14 matches, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists.
