Burnley have officially announced the signing of right-back Kyle Walker, with the transfer fee potentially reaching £5 million. The 35-year-old Englishman has penned a two-year contract, reuniting with former Tottenham and England teammate Scott Parker, who manages the Clarets. Burnley confirmed Walker's arrival in an official statement, with the defender set to link up with Parker for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign. "I’m delighted to be here," said Walker. “When I spoke to Scott and heard his plans for next season, I didn’t hesitate to seize the opportunity. He’s done a brilliant job here, leading the club back to the Premier League with 100 points. Now, we’re eager to return to the world’s greatest league. Burnley were outstanding last season, with incredible defensive stats – I can’t wait to join this exciting team and contribute my experience.”

The deal could be worth up to £5 million, contingent on Walker maintaining a 70% appearance rate and Burnley avoiding relegation in the new season.

Walker has enjoyed spells at Tottenham, Sheffield United, and Aston Villa during his career. Since joining Manchester City in 2017, he made 319 appearances, registering 23 assists and 6 goals. During the recent winter transfer window, he spent a loan spell at AC Milan, making 16 appearances for the Serie A side.
