After the 3-1 pre-season friendly win over Vissel Kobe, Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford spoke to the club's official media.
On the match:
It's great to play in front of the fans, and I'm feeling good physically too. So yeah, I'm looking forward to the games ahead. I'm glad we got the win today, but of course, the most important thing is to integrate into the team. You know, getting the team to form a style of play and play good football – I think we did that in both halves, so that's good. In games like this, half-time substitutions can be tough, but yeah, I think we handled it well.
What are your expectations for Flick?
I think he can help me play good football, and I guess the reason I'm here is to help the team fight for victories. So yeah, I'll take in all the information I need to and try to apply it on the pitch to help the team move forward.
Do you prefer playing on the left or the right?
Probably the left, but you know, I can play in different positions. That's one of my strengths – I can play all positions in the attacking third. So I'll play wherever the team needs me, and try to score and create goals from those positions.
On the fan atmosphere in Japan:
It's really good to play in front of these fans. You know, we don't always get the chance to play in front of them. So being here in Japan now, it's great to get to play in front of them.
