Major League Soccer (MLS) officially announced that Inter Miami CF defender Jordi Alba and forward Lionel Messi will miss their team's 27th round match against FC Cincinnati this Saturday night, as they failed to participate in the 2025 MLS All-Star Game.
According to league regulations, any player who fails to attend the All-Star Game without league approval shall be ineligible to play in their club's next match.
