Andreas Christensen, a player of FC Barcelona's first team, unfortunately twisted his left knee during training on Saturday. Subsequent examinations confirmed a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. After conducting relevant tests on the player, the club has decided to implement a conservative treatment plan for him.
The specific recovery time of the player will depend on his subsequent rehabilitation progress.
The Danish centre-back has made 17 appearances for the team this season, including 12 in La Liga, 4 in the UEFA Champions League and 1 in the Copa del Rey. His most recent appearance came in the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey against
Guadalajara, where he opened the scoring for Barcelona to help the team secure a 2-0 victory.
Christensen has been plagued by injuries this season. Earlier, he missed matches against Olympiacos, Club Brugge, Real Madrid and Elche due to a calf injury.
