Speculation over Borussia Dortmund striker Seydou Girasi’s future shows no sign of abating, with explosive details emerging about the Guinean forward’s next move. It’s "highly questionable" whether Girasi will see out his Dortmund contract, which runs until 2028.
While Girasi feels "at home" at Dortmund and currently sees no reason to leave, he wants to "keep all options open". As such, his brother and agent, Kalamba, has been touting the Dortmund star to several top European clubs.
Recently, Girasi has piqued interest elsewhere—most notably in Saudi Arabia. Sky Sports reports a Saudi club offered him double his current salary, which stands at around €9 million per year at Dortmund. Rumors initially suggested Girasi had no interest in a move to Saudi and directly turned down the offer.
However, sources now claim the rejection didn’t come from Girasi. Instead, Dortmund blocked the approach outright. The 29-year-old, it turns out, was willing to at least listen to the proposal.
