Bayern Munich has already made initial contact with Chelsea regarding the loan of Jackson. The 24-year-old striker is expected to leave Stamford Bridge before the closure of the summer transfer window, and he himself also recognizes that leaving the club is currently the most realistic option if he wants to secure regular playing time this season.
However, Chelsea is more inclined to sell Jackson on a permanent basis, especially as the club is committed to increasing revenue through player sales. Therefore, Fabrizio Romano stated that it remains unclear whether Chelsea is willing to change its stance during the crucial phase before the transfer window closes and accept an offer in the form of a pure loan. Previously, Bayern also attempted to sign Christopher Nkunku on loan, but negotiations failed to make progress as Chelsea insisted on a permanent transfer.
Chelsea is not in a hurry to resolve Jackson's future situation; in fact, they are also maintaining a relatively open stance. Apart from interest from teams in other European leagues, Jackson has also attracted attention from several Premier League clubs. Aston Villa once considered signing him – manager Unai Emery, who worked with Jackson during his tenure at Villarreal, highly rates the striker – but Villa's current financial situation has restricted their maneuvering room. Newcastle United has also expressed interest in Jackson.
